Help using Google webmaster tools please!
im trying to get verified for the google webmaster tools but where i am using a blog i cannot get my URL to say www.rdknows.com/google********
it says www.rdknows.com/blog/07....../google.... if you get me and i cant add a meta tag between the head and title because there is no head any help please

you can do a couple of things.
First, you can try uploading that file using FTP or SCP.
If that doesn't work, you can use the editor to insert the meta tag into your theme.
To increase your google search result ranking use google webmaster tool to verify your site on google use the meta tag method . For verifying your site the meta tag provide by google insert the meta tag your web page html source paste the code between your body section and verify ur site on google web tool . Google webmaster tool is the very powerful and free service .
It looks as if you are using a self hosted wordpress blog?
If so, log into your blog.
Go Dashboard>Design>Theme Editor.
In Theme Editor, select Header usually the first selection at the top right hand side.
That will bring up in HTML the place you are looking for.
Insert your tag with the appropriate tags ( < /> or whatever) and when finished go Update File from below the box.
You can then Visit Site, right click somewhere in a blank area (not an image) of your site and select 'View Page Source'.
You will see the HTML of your site and should see where you have added your tag.
