Its not a problem...
After a add a site in Google Webmaster Tools, you must verify that website (to ensure that you are owner of that website).
Click on Verify This Website button next to you website link.
There are two ways to verify a website.
Meta Tag:
In this way you have to enter a mega tag on your website index page (open your web page in notepad and insert it before body tag)
HTML File:
Download a HTML file given by Google
Upload it to your website where you have index file.
then return to webmaster tools & verify your site.
Only after verifying your website, you'll get benefits of Webmaster Tools. :)
It seems like you haven't gone through the verification process yet. Google requires that you prove that you are the actual site owner by placing a small piece of coding on your homepage.
All you have to do is click on the "verify this site" link on the right side of your site name and follow the next steps.
